GOLf 1 front engine mount
How important is it? Can i chuck it out? The 2 side mounts are poly, and rear one isnt the crappy block one, it is a round mount like bottom of rear shocks.

Re: GOLf 1 front engine mount
Very important under torque. Remove it and gearshifts will become hard under acceleration. Even with our upgrade rear mount with polyurethane bushes we still recommend using the front mount.

Re: GOLf 1 front engine mount
You should be fine if you use polyurethane side mounts and my upgrade rear gearbox mount
