So you went all the way to build a strong naturally aspirated motor. Now you want to undo all that to go boost?

it just seems like a waste of money. To build strong N/A and to build turbo are totally opposite methods. So all the trouble you have gone to will be lost really

Aahhh thanks panic. The car is currently getting sprayed, il just restore everything new then, spots, mudflaps, new carpet and new seats. Make it a real looker as well and maintain it. Wanted to do the whole 83mm piston set up but on pump fuel only and the slight cr bump on pump fuel they say wont make the world of difference. Just leave it as is.

Thanks for the advice your a real legend. We love having you here.

Dyno numbers are simply a guideline.

Yours does seem a little low.

276 is a nice middle ground cam. You dont loose too much bottom end torque. 288 might be a bit much for daily use(if this is your daily?) All depends on personal preference. Some guys have driven daily's with 298 cams. Is this is your first cam experience then I would say go for 276. I had a 282 in my ADY and loved it.

Short intake will increase throttle response and maybe wake it up some more up top bit you will sacrifice torque. I assume you have a 1.6i which is no slouch but it does not have the low down torque of a 2L, thats why they have the long intake

Up to you, if you drive harder and more in the higher rpm then yes, if not then no

Hey guys need advise my 2.0 AGG is currently doing 86kw on the dyno with standard management and 276cam. What more can I do that can take me to 100kw easily and cheap... still standard exhaust

Start by reading, it's easy and cheap.

100wkW is a big ask for an 8v, especially if you don't live at the coast. Work on roughly R1000/kW you want to gain as a guide to estimate the funds required. This thumb guide goes out the window when it comes to turbos, though.

I don't want to discourage you, but rather to give you a realistic expectation. Remember if was easy or cheap everyone would have Bugatti Chiron's in the driveway.

I don think those will fit the 8V.

Throttles on an 8v are almost pointless unless all you want is throttle noises.

If it's for performance reasons you are barking up the wrong tree. 2E/ADY/AGG engines make nice low end torque, throttles will sacrifice most of it and gain very little at top. The only way to make them effective is to get the motor to rev to 9000rpm

Go 20VT.

Bang for buck it's very hard to beat.

The money you will spend to get the 2l not even 3/4 of the way to 20v stock power is ridiculous.

Old rule of thumb R1000 per kW gain.

2l is 95ish stock and 20VT makes 160kW odd, so following the rule, R65k only on the engine to match the power output.

Sell the stock 2l for R9-10k (it's a good runner), buy 20v for R18k and then you still have R50 Grand change for supporting mods
