Thanx Viper for the informative response.

However my car won't be standard for long few months down the line I'll have a cam + headjob + exhaust. I'm sure it will do for now in future I'll go for single dowel clutch and see the difference.

Update!!!!

Bought me a double dowel SACHS clutch kit today, what's the difference between double dowel and single dowel? Also bought new inner cv's, bush kit to set the linkages. Car will go in Monday for this, my inners have started screaming really loud lately. I bought the clutch kit for R1045 at Goldwagen Claremont and the salesman was really interested in my car since I told him what I did to it. He drives a mk1 1.6 8valve with a 276 *** cam since Goldwagen is selling *** cams his now trying to persuaded me to get a ***. Now there is no ways I'm doing that I'm sticking to my original idea of estas 282 already contacted Nellis about this hopefully I'll have it next month. Apparently his car goes nice with the *** but I'll not leave anything to chance I'll make a wise investment in the estas.

Gershy

Hi, Guys

Here I am again, seeking advice lol

So last night I discovered that my car is leaking petrol after doing an inspection since it started smelling like fuel. It leaks underneath the car just behind the driver seat. I know its the fuel pipes running from the pump. Question is how do I fix this? There is 2 pipes below my induction system also leaking petrol. I do know how to fix that atleast. Advice needed plz with

Thanx for the advice pal, I agree. I will try to knock this jobbie off tomorrow. Phoned around for this today won't set me back a lot thank goodness lol.

Question for you. Was your 8valve modified? If so, how does it compare to the Abf?
Can you also tell me what parts u had to buy when u went from Ady to Abf plz.

Just the head had minor work, port & polish + 276 cam i think it had bigger valves not sure, will have to hunt down invoices to tell you what size. You can't compare the 2, totally different leagues. I bought absolutely nothing, car was FI so it was just drop in and start. Had to buy management and a 16v branch then changed the exhaust from 57-63.

So let's say I get an abf then I'll just need a 16v branch, I'm on management already.

Would that be the only part?

at times i miss my 2.0 8v with 282.

only problem here unless you go throttles and big work you get decent power. but if you want reliable decent on fuel . cam piggy exhaust are what will give you best bang for buck

Split exhaust, 53-63mm. Yip that's all you will need to jump to 16v.

Guys

Supaquick is having a sale with their Stainless Steel free flow exhausts for R999 would this be a good investment and on par with what a powerflow exhaust would give me?
