Engine swop on a 9n3

Hi all I am a noob at this all ,but I am so sick of a 1.4 polo that is so dam powerless and I want an up grade but I want to know is it worth while swoping the engine to say a 1.6 or 2l or a tdi , and I don't have the money for a gti ,but I'm just wondering it is only an idea , but if anyone can give advance ,prices ,etc

Eish....hello

Its going to be expensive, very, and you are still going to have a slowish car...

Frank is an honest machine, perfect for its purpose.
The best really is just to get a stronger car, or get another cheap fast car as a toy, because this will probably set you back about R20k+

You could always just buy my corolla....its cheap and fast..

Ooh ok cool thanks its not much the speed I'm looking for , just a 1.4 with 17" rims and a heavy sound install goes nowhere and drinks petrol like there's no tomorrow

Jip, going to cost cheaper an be alot easier to just trade the car in for a 2L

plus i highly doubt the TDI motors are cheaper than the 1.8T

Howzit man,

I have 17'' wheels and a sound install on my 1.4i with no major difference in terms of power or fuel consumption... :cool:

On my last tank i kit 400 k's as i pulled into tje petrol station to fill up andy tank was on yhe last line
