Audi v6, H2O leaks n steams through air vents

Post by Jet Li »

On the weekend the audi started to leak coolant into the dash and one could see steam through the air vents inside the car. The speedo cluster is mulfunctioning and the other electrician I know says that the new cluster will have to be coded by audi when we replace it, otherwise the car wont start.

Booked the car in and still waiting for the quotation. What to expect? and atleast how much will one pay for this to get sorted?

Thanx

Agreed with this. Also, like Killerwatt said - the dash will need to come out + new cluster and coding + labour - I say 8k at least.

Is the car still under warranty / service plan?

Would have been cheaper taking it to a private workshop.
