so after really looking at this, i have either used synthetic or fully synthetic which ever was cheapest, 10w40 and cant remember what fully synthetic is, and the cheaper between castrol or shell helix
so i drive vw golf 4 1.6, no mods
what is the recommended oil to use, shell,castrol? synthetic or fully?
then spark plugs. i always used triple spark NGK's as to the Bosch twin sparks.
what is the recommended spark plug here?

Any oil that has the VW approval "VW 502.00 or the newer VW 504.00" will do, I prefer fully synthetic. The 3 prong NGK's are correct.(change every 60k)
