help! 2e xflow startup

hi all, advice help required....please

i have a 2e block cross flow head with dictator std, dictator module and
msd coil. The engine is has just been put together, 2l map loaded. it swings but cannot get it to startup.. what do i need to do??? :bang: :bang: ....

Main thing to do is see if the Dicktator sees the rpm when you are cranking the engine.
Current rides:

VW Golf - 83 GT 2.1 16V 2-door with throttles
VW Golf - 78 LS 2.0 8V 4-door (2.1 ABF with throttles in progress)
VW Golf - '08 Citi Storm - 1.4 for now
Hyundai - 1.4 Getz (daily)

Check
Is your Dicktator pink up the rpm when you crank?
Is there Spark?
injectors fueling?
Is there compression?

Is your Dicktator pink up the rpm when you crank? how do i check that

If there is spark and fuel then your ECU is seeing the rpm. Double check your timing, see that it's not out, it's very easy to get it 180 degrees out. Check your spark plug leads as well for correct firing order. Other than that it might be a mechanical issue as mentioned...

will recheck the timing and firing order

what could the "mechanical issue" be?

Compression on all cylinders OK
