Advise needed - Crank pulley wobbling ...

Sup guys

Okay so down to this last problem ...touch wood lol anyway ,on idle the crank pulley is wobbling and starting to make a noise ...when I fitted a new carb the mechanic tightened it claiming it was a bit loose which partially helped ..it’s not so bad but still has a wobble ..he told me it doesn’t necessarily mean it’s the pulley ,could be the gear behind ,I already bought the pulley and read up some articles that said I should replace the bolt 1time ...is the anyway of checking if it is the pulley or gear? Or maybe something else?

Change both. The gear is pretty cheap and is usually the problem. Bolt is unlikely the issue. Don't leave this. It can make a spectacularly expensive failure which will cost you a crank node repair ot worse a crank replacement. Either way the engine comes out and the crank h to come out.
