Removing AGG belt tensioner

Post by M3THANOL »

Hey dudes, I hope this isn't too much of a stupid question but I need to get some advise on what is the correct way to remove or loosen the tensioner pulley for the flat belt that drives the alternator. It has a hefty spring on the one side and I don't want to go stripping something that I don't need to.

Thanks

baie dankie, I used my hand the first time :), it's sort of like a bio-shifting spanner but I think a metal shifting spanner will work a lot better!!
