Spark Plugs on Golf 5 2.0

So my boss plans on doing a service on his SO's MKV.

It is a normal 2.0 and not the FSI model.

Now he cannot seem to find how to get in to take the spark plugs out as the intake manifold sits in the way.

Any ideas?
