ugh tough choice. crappy gotech or mp9. i'd probably go with the mp9. Anyway if you want to run the gotech you can leave the mp9 stuff. connect up the distributor and the mp9 will still switch the pump on and run the revcounter. It can also still do the idle control.

Perfect Power dealer. I do dyno tuning.

The gotech will then run the injectors and spark but the mp9 is still active for the other stuff. Perhaps you should get somebody to do it that knows what they are doing. If you pull the entire mp9 stuff then you have to switch the pump on amd the idle control does not work and it's a mission to get the rev counter working.

Okay, ive got everything working propperly, idling is 100%, doesnt die or anything and goes like hell, runs nice through the revs.

all wiring done now and its just the rev counter that needs to be connected...that ill do over the weekend.

now all that awaits is the dyno and tuning - any preferred people to go to for the fine tune and dyno???

What was the problem bud?

Glad to here that it is all sorted and that you are enjoying the motor!

As you know Shane from KAR Performance tuned it for me but Gotech themselves would do a great job too (may cost more than KAR).

howzit SJS,

The non return valve for the brake booster was the wrong way around so that sorted out most of it but then also one of my mates plugged in the mp9's TPS sensor and the mp9 was still connected so it was also trying to regulate or something on the throttle and that sorted the extreme over feuling.

so pulled that plug an refitted all the gotech plugs to make sure they are working and fitted properly and then the non return valves and voala....bob's your uncle
