Try a search, there's a diagram with the location of all the ABF sensors floating around somewhere, Shaun posted it IIRC...

If you going to run dicktator, then why do you want to wire the tps in bro? But anyway, its a 3pin tps iirc and should have markings on it. Centre pin should be signal. Stephan knows it much better.
Have you had your bottle of Hatorade today?

Oky so after lots of reading it looks like Panic made me change my mind on management choice, at the moment I am running dicktator but in the near future when I have the funds I will go PP.

I haven't really seen anybody not happy with it so it has to be a great system, with lots of extra options.

Just a pity my tuner doesn't tune them, he says they are great but he doesn't get support from them. But that is his story I know he is great on other managements. I just want all the features the pp allows u to use.

This is what I need then

Price on PP?(What system I don't know)
Get a blue fire
Get a coil pack
Get wide band
And lastly change my tuner
The rest of the stuff I should have

What is your opinions

Big mistake taking out dictator. Definitely be prepared for less power n reliability with pp. I've got dicktator on my Abf caddy. Runs like a bomb. Neva had any issues in all the years it's running.

I would go for PP, I have never owned a car running PP but I did own a '93 Caddy with a 2.0 16v ABF on ITB's which ran Dictator. Although it did the job after my experience helping Roadhawg get his ex MkI GT up and running on PP and seeing panic-mechanic at work, I would go for PP...

Re: ABF help plz (dicktator no spark)

Post by Bullet03 »

Hi guys

So tried to start tonight, but no luck. No spark
Double checked my wiring and looks fine, but I have 2 diagrams one say I should use ignition output 1 and the other one ignition output 3.

I am running thru a tp100 but not sure how to test if it is working, and the coil worked when I took it out but not sure now. Any way I can test this?

I am thinking of getting a 3pin coil to cancel ot the tp100, but have never done it that way so will need some advise

Any advise please I have to get this up and running as my tuner is closing tomorrow

What management are you using? On Dicktator you can drop the TP100 and wire the 3-pin coil directly to the ignition output. On PP you have to use the Blue Fire ignition amp and a normal coil or a modifoed 3-pin coil, no TP100.

what coil do you have now and what was the car running in there before?
if your car came with a tp100 setup then just leave it in and figure out where you went wrong.
Also are you supplying the hall sendor power from the tp100?
are you picking up rpm while cranking?

How I did my Dicktator in my GT, Hall sender in dizzy directly to ECU pin 1, ignition output pin 6 directly to 3-pin coil, tacho output pin 4 to thick red/black wire for rev counter. Don't use ignition output 3 (pin 5)

Im not that clues up with dictator but isn't the green light linked to the injector pulse? Is the yellow light flickering as well?
Like i asked before are you powering the hall from the tp100 outputs or direct from ignition?
Are you picking up rpm on the dictator tuning screen when you crank?
