SIMOTA - Super Spiral Turbo Ventilator

Post by Azhar »

Hi guys, hope all is well.

I would just like some information regarding the above product, i've seen it been market for a while now and wonder if it will increase the air intake of a car thus increasing combustion. In the marketing flyer (and that is just it, "marketing") it apparently decreases your fuel consumption <---(talking crap in my mind) increases air flow as the impeller can spin up to speeds of 30,000 rpm!!!!

I suppose it is like a mini turbocharger in the way that it induces more into your inlet manifold by way of an electrically operated turbine but more that that i do not know.

So any advice is welcome and any views as well.

Thanks

MMMMM no save the money for some proper performance work!

I don't even think it is electric! Just the air passing through that turns the blade. Imagine what will happen if that thing's bearing explode at 30 000rpm and send small parts into your motor. We spend thousands of rand's to increase airflow by gas flowing and installing bigger valves now we think we can increase power by installing a lump of plastic with grid that will surely restrict air by atleast 15%

*facepalm*...

How does it work.. ? These little fans don't compress air at all.. so there is the same volume of air in your cylinder because your cylinder can only hold a certain volume of stuff in there.. you should read up on how turbos work they are a COMPRESSOR.. this little fan that they took out a computer blows air, it does not compress air.

Watch the vid, they bought the most expensive "electric supercharger"... it actually made less power..

Im not talking about the computer fan versions. The one that works uses a roots compressor and 13KW worth of electrical motors.
Trust me, i know how a turbo works
