Hi guys where can I find out exactly in what motors the G-cam all came out in ?

If you looking for that spec cam, the vw "A" cam has same duration and lift and easier to find

From what I can understand is the +- 1985-1987 1600 sport had the 2B2 carb and G-cam... also one of the 1.5L motors.
VW then saw its works nice so they fitted it in the Gti and Cti.
I need to know as someone protested us in the Standard stockcar class.

there's 2 versions of this cam, the solid lifter version which had pretty decent duration and lift. and the hydro version which is not nearly as agressive.
