Yes 2.0's needs a longer duration cam to come alive. Also not loads is lost bottom end. 276 is and always has been a very good balance cam. The 288 has no low down torque.

Going to finally try a 282 cam and settle on that...

i think you need to get an estas 288 and try again.

please try and test the 298 as well. You never know you may like it.

Agreed, 282 is to small for a 2 liter engine.
