TDI 2.0 2013 81 KW TouranTaking long to reach running tempreture

Good Day All, I am new to this group it seems very informative. I have just purchased a Touran 2.0 2013 TDI 81 KW +/- 140 000 Km. I have noticed that the temperature gauge rises very slowly to reach 90, sometimes takes 25 min of driving is this normal? I took it to VW they say it is all fine after doing diagnostics.

2012 2.0 TDi Touran - same thing.

Just did a quick 15km drive (roughly the same in minutes) and the temp only reached 90° just before the end of the trip.

Has always been that way.

Could be a faulty Thermostat.

If the egr is deleted it will also take abit longer to warm up than normal
