Unusal turbo flutter/bad lag/loss of power

Howsit guys. I have some issues on my polo 1.9tdi asz

I dont know what the sound is. Im going to refer to it as "flutter"

About a day ago. When i release accelerator, i hear the the sound of the turbo flutter. Which never used to happen on my tdi.
It lags bad when pushing down hard on the accelerator.

Driving it normal it seems fine. No issues, other than the light flutter sound.

Please help with any ideas on where i should start.

Could be clogged vanes or turbo leak on the exhaust side.

Ok cool. Something i need to check out. It seems to be running fine this morning. No tsuuu sound. Lol. But will have to look into it. Thank you for your response.

If you go under, you should see black soot marks where the leak is, on the turbo and downpipe.

Maybe also have a look at all your boost pipes as well just for safety sake.

Would also suggest checking your hoses and clamps are tight for boost and intercooling pipes.

Without checking we can't say. Turbo might be on its way out, you might be having a boost leak where it's sucking in air/dirt. Find the issue first then you can check if it is safe.

Before parking the car off today. Pushed it a little hard once as i was 2 roads away from home.
Definitely lost its power at acceleration.
Then it just slowed down. Acceleration died off. Felt like it was in "limp mode"
Heard a funny dry turbine spool sound.
I stopped and took off again. It feels like it has life in 1st gear and then power fades away ans it doesnt come into boost as normal.

Please don't drive any longer.

Could be a broken turbo. Hopefully it isn't and can just be rebuilt.

Also noticed on the valve block. Has those vacuum hoses. The number 3 is not connected to anything. Any idea wer it goes?

Also noticed when i pulled off in first gear. Car normally leaves a cloud of black smoke. This time it didnt.
