Hi guys....
Please assist I have a polo 1.9tdi. I just did the complete motor.
Car has big injectors and turbo
Am currently having the issue whereby I cannot start the car it keeps swinging but doesn't take. Only if I spray quick start for a while it will take and once I switch off it won't start again. I have changed the cam sensor logged the car on vcds the injectors seem to be fine the timing is at 2.88 and goes to 3.2. I have also tried another tandem pump, also checked the fuel lines to the tandem pump and there is fuel coming through however issue is still there.
Please can someone assist if they had this issue or knows what could be wrong.

Re: Polo 1.9tdi
Does the engine only run on quickstart or does it run on its own?
Verify fuel lines.
Blue is the return line, fits on the bottom of the tandem pump.
And white the feed.

When a car tailgates me, i slow down - then floor it and give them a cloud of diesel smoke to choke on

Re: Polo 1.9tdi
If the car is fueling properly, check both crank AND cam sensors. I had a similar issue and replacing those got the car starting.Ashveer03 wrote:Does the engine only run on quickstart or does it run on its own?

Re: Polo 1.9tdi
I've tried only a new cam sensor so far due to no faults picking up on vcdsThekogm wrote: ↑Fri Oct 11, 2019 1:24 pmIf the car is fueling properly, check both crank AND cam sensors.
