Pd100 struggle to start and sounds horrible

Hi guys,

Need some help. Recently changed the tandem pump, drove the car for 100kms then it just died. Struggles to start and when it does it sounds horrible. I have attached a link to a video for reference. https://youtu.be/l4VYbE1NFWs

So I found the problem, as you can see there is scoring on the rocker arm and the cam. Will need to replace both.ImageImage

goldwagen sells a new cam for like 1800

What's the mileage on that?

Almost guaranteed that motor ran on non PD spec oil for some period in its life

Car is on 248xxxkm. So previous owners could have.

An incorrect spec oil should cause damage (even if not as bad as the proper broken one) to all 4 rollers, and the cam valve lobes aswell.

The Rocker probably just decided its the end of its life and time to fail. The Rocker arm rollers are lubed via the cam caps, into the shaft and then into the arm.
