Howzit all, Bit of a question here. My 06' Passat Diesel (BKP Engine 103kw) is stock, also averages 12l/100km??
(11.8l/100km to be exact..)
This is with "normal" driving, no lead foot accelerations xD and moderate city traffic (Randburg area). As this is my first Passat, I have no concept of what is acceptable. Anyone that can clear the fog?
PS: The turbo is being done soon as it was last done at 80k by previous owner. Now have 193xxx km. Fuel consumption seems unaffected by failing turbo (whine but still boosts and holds fine to 1.3bar) in my opinion, correct me?
Background = Both Diesel Pumps were replaced under motor-plan 2 years ago. New fuel filter 2500km ago, Only tanked 50ppm Diesel since owning it.
Cheers!
