replace filter housing. No repair to that. Surely they can do that?

thanks Panic well thats what i was told n they said that i will have to pop out R15k to repair the housing filter leak hence my question if i can get some1 cheaper to repair it

Where exactly does it leak? Do you have a picture?
Cant think that the housing is cracked, probably just needs a gasket somewhere...

15 k. Are they mad. Probably some clot forgot to tighten a bolt or as mentioned it needs a gasket. Always start cheep.
