Charge Pressure Control: Positive Deviation

Post by CoalWorld23 »

Whats up Guys,

So i was driving my Ibiza FR abit hard on Saturday (which isn't normal because i usually don't)
while doing a certain speed (pretty brisk), the car suddenly lost power and felt like it didn't boost as well as previously.

so i scanned it on VCDS and it came up with:
17965 - Charge Pressure Control
P1557 - 35-00 - Positive Deviation

Drove the car again this morning. as far as i can tell there aren't any boost leaks. Drives kinda normal again, however, boost feels lower especially in 1st where under 2000 rpm there's no boost at all and the fuel readings on the trip are much higher than usual.

Any advice on how to solve this and get the car running back to normal would be much appreciated. :bang:

Something is up with the boost control. My guess would be the n75. But inspect all the vaucuum lines on the turbo as well.
