Golf V 1.9 TDI fuel lines

Post by dees@pgti »

Guys I noticed that the supply and return fuel lines from the fuel filter to the fuel hardlines have cracks on them and it's a matter of time before they start leaking.

It's 4 pipes that are around 30cm in length. I priced them at the stealership and its around R3800

I'm going to get rubber hoses and cut them to size. Anyone know the diameter of these pipes and can recommend a place to buy them?

Fuel lines are generally 8mm.. hydraulic shops keep the best quality in my opinion

When a car tailgates me, i slow down - then floor it and give them a cloud of diesel smoke to choke on :driving:

Thanks bud, I will remove one of the lines this weekend and double check the size

Will search for hydraulic shops in my area as well.
