Hi need some advice want to know whether 1.9 polo and 1.9 touran intercooler air the same size and fitment

What year is the touran? I believe some (maybe newer ones) have a fmic..

Not too sure of the 74kw polo, but the sportline use the C Clip type cooler and the 1.4tdi uses the hose clamp type cooler. The 1.9 and 1.4 seem to have the same size core but the pipe diameter of the 1.4 is smaller.

All the diesel Tourans should use a front mount cooler with pipes on opposite corners, but its only like 36mm thick so its not great...

You can probably make an 8p S3 intercooler fit there which will be more than sufficient

But to answer the OP's question, no a Polo intercooler is not the same as Touran intercooler

will work but will need mods to fit as the drivers side pipe is completely in the wrong place
