Polo 1.4 tdi 2004 power loss

Hi everyone, I'm driving a polo 1.4 tdi 2004 model, I bought da car last year nd after some few days I experienced that it has a power boost failure dat can b regain by switching da car off for a while then start it again, some time the problem may occur after 2oo km sometimes less than 100 km, when the engine light occur it loose power now and then, I took da car to 2 mechanics but nothing have changed, I even thinking of buying another engine 1.6 petrol or 1.9 tdi if it's possible to b fitted in the car, please help
