It is literally just two plates. I have basiclly a 100 of them at home and the shipping will cost more than the plates. It's getting it coded out after that is important. First find out who can do that.
Then getbsome plates made up.

Hey guys
My sportline has been chipped by ATM chip tuning. They said my egr has been deleted.
I want to replace the throttle body with a straight pipe.
What must I do with the 2 rubber pipes now?

That can be catastrophic.
What exactly causes it?

Massively catastrophic...

As I understand it, the ASV shuts off airflow to the engine momentarily when you switch the car off starving the engine of air which essentially stops it from running. Without the ASV, there is a risk that the engine doesn't shut down and continues running for as long as fuel is supplied. I am not sure if modern day diesels with more electronic systems have a way around this though.

The risk is minute. Where itnis a bigger issue is when you have a possible turbo failure that causes engine oil to spray into the intake system. Even though you switch it off stopping fuel supply it will run on oil till the sump runs dry or it fails before that.
These are all big wolf stories though as the chance is small amd at any time you can stick it in gear and stand on the brake thus stalling the motor. But just clean that valve and put it back on. Once the egr is gone it will stay pretty clean.
Oh and if it is auto or dsg you are screwed so then you really don't want to remove it.

I have removed my egr pipe and put blanking plates done by Wes at eightysix but when I switch off I still get a shudder. My egr throttle body is still in place and also not blanked with a racepipe. So is it normal to still have the engine shudder?

Why is this a risk on Auto or DSG? Or is this just in case of your Turbo failure Scenario where you cant stall it?

I drive a BT 50 AUTO now, its got no back boxes on and this week its going in for EGR blank off and DPF removal.

Yes. Can't kill the motor by stalling it.
