I have some oil leaking from the top of my filler cap and at the base. Do I replace the rubbers and gasket or do I buy new from the agents?

had the same on mine. new cap and new seal fixed the leak but if i stood long enough and watched i could see blowby smoke escaping when closed, I got another seal from GW which is thicker than the oem one that comes with a new cap both from the agents and from GW . installed both but in reverse and it worked. i.e thick replacement seal from GW first under cap and then thin oem cap seal ontp of that

I am currently experiencing the same issue on my Polo 6C GTi.
I noticed how it was always "damp" around my oil cap. Went to agents and got a replacement for R320. Replacement cap seemed to be working for a few weeks and I am basically back to square 1. Did 1200 km over the weekend and car "consumed/leaked" approximately 400 ml of oil.
What would be the next step? Trying a thicker replacement rubber? The car only drives on weekends but it is becoming a bit of a nuisance to constantly check oil even though the fix is not expensive.
