Post by stukkendeTdi »

Hey everyonne

I'm new to the forum and to driving a VW and to driving a diesel..

My question is what oil do you guys put in the tdi's?
I heard lots of rumours about oil, some say nah normal oil some say it needs full synthetic oil some say half synthetic!!!!

Please help me I need to do a minor service now.

No, DPF is part of the exhaust system and needs to go through a regeneration process every so often to clear it out. All for emissions regulations.
