Polo Classic TDI clutch issue

Post by M3THANOL »

Sup

I am posting on behalf of a my manager at work. He has a 2008 Polo Classic TDI that he has recently purchased. He says that recently the clutch is taking lower and lower down. He said he bled the hydraulics and once he did that it did eliminate the free play that was felt in the pedal but hes says it did nothing to help with the clutch taking so far down.
As he says, this is weird because in general, when a clutch wears out/ as it wears out it takes progressively higher and higher up and this is doing the direct opposite.

If any of you smart guys could give some info it would be greatly appreciated

Thanks

A worn clutch will take higher up yes. I am taking a wild guess here but it can be master or slave cyl starting to fade out
