Hyundai H100 diesel fuel consumption?
Does anyone know how is the consumption on the H100 bakkie? Not very sure about the figures but this one seems too heavy.

Mine is also very heavy on juice, and underpowered and ugly, and the hand break doesn't work.
Besides that, a good work horse.

I assume in both cases you guys don't have the new turbo diesel model then, because that is no slouch at all.

Don't you have it backwards.
The old gen were turbo charged. Newer ones are NA Diesel. Even checked Hyundai website as I was a bit confused.
58kw not exactly super speedy.

Re: Hyundai H100 diesel fuel consumption?
Our company bought a brand new one last year and it is turbo diesel. It is not slow at all, I used to drive one of those old Kia K2700's and that is SLOW!!! Fun in the wet and freakin scary as well. This Hyundai is a pleasure to drive.
It was actually stolen and recovered and when we checked the gps unit that is installed the highest recorded speed was 203km/h, so the tsotsi's were flying with it

This one is 2011 turbo diesel. The tank is actually small at 65l, just filled it up and reset the kilos and will take it from there.

Re: Hyundai H100 diesel fuel consumption?
The facelift / new Hyundai bakkie with the smiling bumper does not have a turbo.
The most I get is 430km on a tank until it hits reserve.
When I fill up, I can only get 42L back into the tank and the book states its a 65L tank so theres still a bit in there when you hit reserve.
The turbo version was a 2.5L engine rated @ 69kw and 220NM torque.
Fuel consumption as per Hyundai is @ 10.2L per 100km on old spec.

Re: Hyundai H100 diesel fuel consumption?
mine is a 2010 model i think, bought it from brand new.
sadly the dog chewed the speedo cable so i cant check the consumption.
but i can say its damn light, probably close to 600-700kms from a tank.
