Hi guys
My dad's car has developed an intermittent humming sound (I can also feel vibration accompanying it) for 3 seconds when turning the key to the off position. It also increases in pitch while you can hear it. Sounds like it might be coming from the rectangular box with fuel lines (marked 1-4 and another on the opposite end) on the driver's side of the engine bay.
The car doesn't smoke, fuel economy is unchanged (except that idling consumption now drops down to 0.4 L/h sometimes when the engine is at operating temperature) and starts within the first swing. Should we be concerned about this? Car is now on 92 000km, cambelt was changed at the 90 000km service two months ago.
