Polo 1.9tdi vs Polo 1.9tdi sportline

Post by MouseGTI »

Yo,

So i currently drive a 9n3 GTI, and i was thinkin about swopping for a tdi. Issue is i like my 4 doors  . . .now as far as i can tell, the only real difference between the sportline and 4door is the power rating.

So if i were to trade my gti for a 4door 1.9tdi, would i be able to also mod and get those epic torque figures?

Thanks

Yes you would...

But good luck finding a 4 door 96kw... they not as easily found as sportlines...

Edit to add: You get the 4 door in both 74kw and 96kw....

I think in 2008 there were some 96kw 4 doors...

You'll get that easily if you have the 4 door 96kw... If you buy the 4 door 74kw, you can always do cooler, exhaust, software with a revised map and a cupra turbo and you should easily see yourself nearing a sportline with a mild map?

I know when I was shopping for my TDI I initially looked for a Sportline and didnt mind the 2 door or 4 door.

Finding a good condition 2 door Sportline is as rare as a pig in flight. I looked at about 8-10 of them and a lot more have been involved in accidents as the owners make out too.

I digress however. I came across a 2008 4-door TDI 96kw but at the time the owner was asking R140k which is quite justified but they do exist, just look for the Red I (Eye) and you are in luck.
