1.4i to 2e swap over fueling

Hi guys
Last year I did a swap in my 2009 golf mk1 from 1.4i to 2e, as I read the posts it's exactly as said plug and play, I'm using all the mp9 set up and 1.4i gearbox and it was all fine for about 2 weeks and then the night mare starts, when driving normal it's seems to be jerking and splattering and I noticed that I have to keep changing the plugs every two weeks, Im new to this engine swop things so now please can any one help me I'm using the original mp9 setup, some say it needs to be remapped I live in Ladysmith so now to get it to a dyno shop and stuff is a little difficult
