Recently I've noticed how thieves have been trying to steal VW's in particular and I've been wondering... is it possible to steal new DSG cars such as the B7 or B8 passat or 2017 Jetta?

That's why I worry , is it possible to steal these cars if you can't select any gears without the key being present?vwpro wrote:Thieves can steal any car very easy. No car is safe in this shithole country of us

Re: DSG cars like B7 and B8
Why would it be impossible to steal a DSG car? I am sure they are stolen just like any other 'automatic' car.

Re: DSG cars like B7 and B8
Exactly. I know 4 people who have had DSG cars stolen. 2X Mk5 GTI DSG's, one Passat TSI DSG and one Caravelle DSG.Neuk wrote:Why would it be impossible to steal a DSG car? I am sure they are stolen just like any other 'automatic' car.
If they want a car, they will take it. Auto 'box, DSG, manual, rocket powered, makes no difference.
