Hi. Why was my post DELETED?
I thought this was to voice our opinions about matters and get feedback from others. So why was I silenced? Post deleted ?

How sad that people think it necessary that posts need to be "moderated" on a site full of adults.

Re: Hi. Why was my post DELETED?
Nope. Was deleted amid a load of spam this morning. Wasn't anything "moderated" about it.ambroseg1 wrote:How sad that people think it necessary that posts need to be "moderated" on a site full of adults.
When last have you seen a post moderated on the forum.
It seems a load of forum members are quick to jump into that bandwagon.
User Pmed and asked to repost the thread.

Re: Hi. Why was my post DELETED?
When you say spam, do you mean off-topic comments by users here, or spambot posts? Surely those posts can just be deleted and the thread left as is? And if its off-topic posts by users here, then surely they don't need to be deleted. Leave it. Warn users to stay on topic.Ian_F wrote:Nope. Was deleted amid a load of spam this morning. And what happened to the Flying squad thread (the original one, not the rip-off one LOL).
All the above is just my personal opinion. Use it, don't use it. Just some constructive criticism.

Spam bots. We use auto delete and ban functionality to clear those ... Was just caught in the cross fire.ambroseg1 wrote:When you say spam, do you mean off-topic comments by users here, or spambot posts? Surely those posts can just be deleted and the thread left as is? Flying squad thread was locked until I received verification on the accusations raised. Brian GTI vanished and I spoke to the owner of BreTT GP, whose car was in his garage at the time.
