forced to log in every day...is it just me?

Post by s e t h »

hi

for a long time i had no issue using my bookmarks on firefox that linked directly to 'new posts'
for the last few weeks though, on both my pc's, this has not worked and i've been forced to login each time and been directed to 'board index' and then i can click 'new posts'
is it just me that has this problem?...if not is there any chance someone could revert back to the older and far more convenient system?

thanks

Same here. Not sure what has changed as we haven't changed anything on the board.

I think if you log in on another device it logs you out on the PC.

Seems like whenever I connect via a new IP address it requires me to login again.

it wouldn't surprise me if this issue was causing the community to slowly disperse...anyone got statistics covering the last couple of months?

Highly doubt it. Set your browser to remember credentials and it's simply a matter of tapping the enter key. I'd like to think that people aren't that fickle that they'd leave if asked to do just that.

Hey guys. I'm having a similar problem. I just noticed it now as I was away on holiday for the past week. I mostly use my tablet to check the forum. When going through my email notifications before I only had to log in on the first one. Now I have to log in separately for each thread. I don't have it set to automatically log in as I sometimes use my PC also to browse the forum. Are there any settings I can change to fix this?
