Hi I have a 2004 1.6 polo who's EPC light stays on but dimly lit even when the car is not running with the key out?
I disconnected the brake light as advised by a friend at VW, apparently this was a common issue, no luck.
Any ideas before I start looking

Re: epc light
just had the fault codes checked and all clear, but the fault is still there.
I don't know if that's good or bad news.
off to VW on Wednesday. I just hope they are able to sort it out

Bud, you posted in the wrong section, that's why you got no replies here yet. Post your question in the technical : vehicle related : and then the right subsection, N/A. There is way more traffic there and the guys will be able to help you there

Thanks, it appears the instrument cluster has issues but not serious at this stage. can't wait to price a new one.
