The price of the CTR here in S.A is ridiculous for the same money you get a R which puts it in a league of its own. I suspect the Clubsport will be around R500k a tad below the R
And yes, from rolling the Clubsport should be infront of the civic

clubsport price is R740000, only 47 of the 400 will end up in South Africa

That's for the clubsport S, the same one that beat the Type R around the nurburgring, no back seats etc

Agreed! My little Stage1 Fist does 13.9 with a hell of a lot wheelspin on the 60ft.

If you sort out the wheelspin you'll snap a driveshaft, one way or the other the Clubsport will still be ahead.

I really cannot fathom how insecure one must feel about their car to worry about quarter mile times.

It's powered by a 2.0-litre turbocharged engine which delivers 228kW/380Nm. It completes the 0-100 km/h sprint in 5.8 seconds while top speed is limited to 250km/h.

I kinda agree. I can see why you'd be interested in quarter mile/track times, but if that's what you base your purchase on and you aren't racing for a living then it's kinda stupid.
