Leonard, where is your shop?

Do you work with Budget Insurance by chance? I need a few dents & scratches repaired on a Colt 4x4 double cab and have something called "restore smart" which covers minor dents & scratches upto R2500

From personal experience i must say the quality of work is excellent from the dent doctor franchise. I had some work done on my Rxi where i re-sprayed my front bumper and some other panels and that was the best spray job ive ever seen, it looked like a bran new car of the showroom. No over spray at all. I was very pleased with the spray job. I sprayed the 2 back fenders also because the paint was cracked at the bottom when they tried to roll the fenders. If you see that car it was perfectly matched.

If only you weren't so far! Dropping a car off and getting a lift home from the 'burg is not easy!

My SLK is in dire need of some front bumper attention. Keeps scraping on stuff, and has now deformed! Scratched to pieces too. The rest of the car could also use a once over for the odd dent. (i think there's 3, 1 will require paint..)

Could you PM me a quote, and maybe organise transport to the Rhodesfield station?

this is still vague, i think i will give u a call... coz you are not giving any rough costs.

no customer wants to do a job with out costing.

we understand the concept of the one hour of dent removal or is this also free if done in the hour

Hi Bud,

Per panel, you are looking between R300 to R700.

Thats still very vauge I agree, but what cannot be predicted is the amount of stripping required to get to the dent.

Some dents are easily accessible, and will be "pulled" rather then pushed, those are easy.

Some will require you strip the entire boot for example to get to the inside of the fender.

Some dents will require you to actually remove the bonnet and put it on a bonnet stand (mostly hail).

Some dents may be on a natural curve of the panel, meaning that it takes a great deal more time to get right.

Its really tricky to quote before hand.
