the event was actually quite big. 80 trophies were given out and well over 80cars entered.

The crowd was huge right till the end.

Anyone else take any pics? From what I can see from the ones posted so far, looks like the same type of cars as the Autostyle show

Why the chirp? So what, if you not on the organising committee does it mean the shows not worth going to.

Look at your replies bro some people enjoyed the show so leave them to that, we have addressed this on the forum and privately before. So you should know what i am referring to.

Not being sensitive just saying it as it is

You should have given your comments to the owners at the show. I am sure that would have got the cops there.

it must be remembered that anyone could enter this event, it was not invitation only so off course you would see cars that might not have been modified the correct way or a bit over top but all in all the show itself was good and the cars modified the right way were more than the "rice" cars.

Many people that attended felt it was a good showing so why be so negative?

Disagree - I think you are trying to make something where isn't something! Don't come and put words in my mouth and then expect me not to defend myself. I never once said the show was not worth going to, nor did I discourage anyone from going. All I did was say that I wasn't going, and for various reasons wasn't arranging anything from the VW Club's side of things.

If my opinion that the cars looked the same as the ones from the Autostyle show - or that I think it is crazy that almost as many trophies were given out as cars that entered - somehow offends you, well to be honest, that is not my problem. It is my opinion. Deal with it.

You need to remember that not everyone enjoys every type of event, the same style of modding etc etc and that this is a public forum and we are all entitled to our opinions. For some reason you seem to feel that because I have a role to fulfill in terms of planning events etc, that I am not allowed an opinion, or allowed to express it.

Whatever bud!

Exactly public forum public club arrange events for everyone not just what you interested in. Try it you might like it.

If you dont like then shut the hell up. You directly chirped the guy when you said "So what, you enter your car and get a trophy?"
