Radio removal without the radio keys

Post by Knuckles87 »

Hi guys,
Is there a way to remove the stock radio (Same as the Citi Rox and Velo) without those radio security keys?
YouTube is not giving me the correct ways and i want to keep my stock radio.

Sound and Audio shops are charging me about R150 just for the removal

Thanks in advance!

Take an old bank card. Cut 2 pieces in the long length of the card at 8mm wide. Now you have radio keys!

Thanks Casper..
I tried that toošŸ˜‚

I managed to bribe one of the employers at a sound shop. The shop was charging a price of R120 for the removal.

I gave the guy R50 to do it.

It will usually be in the owner's manual, or some people tape / write it on the under / top side of the radio itself, so you'd have to remove the radio to see this.
