interior detailer needed - remove cigarette smell

Post by mueneni12 »

As per title, looking for someone to clean/treat interior of my car. Car was owned by a smoker and being an asthma sufferer it is quite difficult to drive the car with the strong cigarette smell.

Would appreciate if there are places surrounding Sandton though willing to drive out if necessary.

Thanks,
Tommy

Good day. I hope you you can find someone who can help you with that.

I have been a smoker all my life, and my cars never smell like smoke. I don't understand how people can accomplish it that their cars have this overwhelming smoke stinch inside. I see smokers driving around with closed windows. What is up with that??

Please let us know what you did. Strings.

Same here... I smoke in every car I have owned, yet not a single one of them has/had that stink in it.
I cannot understand how some smokers can let their cars end up smelling so bad.

Good luck, Tommy.

I'm quite sure the cars stink when the ashtray is used. Some people have that filthy habit of smoking inside the car while the ac is on, and use the ashtray. That smell lingers in for ages..

As a smoker u wouldn't get the same smell a non smoker would get ur car will still smell like a chimney but not as bad as explained above.

U can get an ac treatment - it really works! even if the ac doesn't work as long as the blower works.

Any idea who stocks them around JHB? I have decided to anyway get the car completely cleaned out and just ensure it is clean, under seat etc. Do not think the previous owner cared much about keeping car clean and possibly because it is a bakkie anyway.

Smokers all say their cars dont smell like smoke inside, as a non smoker I can clearly tell if someone has smoked in a car
