Advice: Removing 3M Wrap

Post by moe46664 »

Hey guys.

I am interested in buying a MK6 GTi that has a full 3M wrap on it. If II do purchase it, I'll want to remove the entire wrap completely and make it look as stock as possible.

Questions is, what would something like this cost me to be done without damaging any of the paint underneath, and who can you guys recommend to do it? I'm based in Johannesburg, and should have the car next week if all goes well. I can whatsapp pics of the car to anyone interested in quoting me.

Thanks in advance
Mo

If I can give my 2c's here. Have the wrap removed before you buy it.

Bought my D/C with full wrap. IF I knew what it looked like under the wrap I wouldnt have touched it.

Have Kuvi remove it, if paint underneath is as you agreed with the seller then you pay for the removal.
If the paint is a mess up and the wrap was there to cover it up and he did not inform you, then have him pay for the removal.
