Sure can do. The water is not really a big issue our side. I have seen much worse. In 6 years of staying there we had sort of a tiny bit caked on a kettle element and it is not hard ie. soaps will foam easily. It's only if you leave it to dry in the sun that you can see some sort of marking / residue

hard to believe believe Panic is detailing now!(never mind trying to picture it) great job so far! amd lol nt making it easy on yourself by starting with a black car hahaha. I'm still very wary of using a machine to polish with so might come amd haunt you for a hands on how to once you have it nailed

yeah pick a HUGE black car as a first project. bad idea.
Had to assess a touareg for a buyer in Durban yesterday so did not do much. Worked a bit this afternoon and then look at another touareg with a propshaft imbalance. So got to half the boot. Hope I can do most of the left side tomorrow and finish friday.

Gotten around the back at last. What a pain with all the compound curves. Thought the back looks pretty simple and will be quick. Yeah right.
So two left doors to do tomorrow.

So friday night I had to get it done because it was taking up a parking spot need on saturday.
So did all the first polish bits, then got through the whole car on the fine pad and 3500. And then wax.
Finished around midnight, also pulled all the masking off.
It looks nice and at least a heck of a lot better than beforehand.

I have decided to hold on doing anything on the paint on the CC as it makes no sense other than where we went to currently ie. Geting all the muck and sticky stuff off. Once the build / repair is over I will turn my attention to cosmetics. It is silly to absolutley detail that knowing full well there is going to be quite a while before it is running and possible another rub or scratch happening before it is done.

:iagree:

Outstanding work on the S6, you have done a great job on restoring that paint job.
I am sure the Wife is slightly jealous and has asked for the keys and take it to the shops
