Re: how to remove roof lining glue mk1
If you are talking purely about the glue left behind, I see no reason why a normal tar and glue remover designed for the exterior of your paint won't work.
There are a few options....
Something like Goo-gone which can be found at builders - you may even be able to pick up some Sonax or Wurth tar remover - they would work fine too.
Or you can go to our forum sponsors like Crazy Detailer, Pristine Detailing or Auto-DNA - all will see a tar (glue) remover from varying brands.
FWIW - Valet Pro Citrus Tar and Glue Remover from Crazy Detailer is my 'go-to'.
When using please keep the doors open if you are working on the inside of the car to try and help disperse some of the fumes (most tar removers contain unpleasant chemicals like Xyelene so you don't want to be breathing it in).

Re: how to remove roof lining glue mk1
I have purchased this at builders, works well. I just heated the glue up abit and then used the residue remover
