Re: KARCHER 1l Ultra Foam Cleaner
Oh yes, and does it need to be diluted with water in the foam canon?

Re: KARCHER 1l Ultra Foam Cleaner
Even the act of running a wash mitt over the paint, will, on some level, be removing wax. Remember too that waxes will naturally degrade over time so unless you are actively ADDING something to the wax to 'increase' it, then everything else is 'degrading' it..
Obviously though you want to know if it is going to strip off all of your wax.
If you look at the SDS found here https://s4.kaercher-media.com/documents ... _en_ZA.pdf you will see under section 3 the following main ingredients
>20% sodium lauryl ether sulfate - this is the foaming agent
<3% alkyl-C10-polyethyleneglycolether + 8 EO - this is the cleaning agent
15-30% anionic surfactants - Surfactants may act as detergents, wetting agents, emulsifiers, foaming agents, and dispersants.
None of these jump out as being overly harsh and the product has a PH of 10.3 undiluted (remember it will still mix with water coming through the pressure washer) so its definitely an alkaline cleaner, much like most APC's and in fact most snowfoams - in fact it seems to have even less aggressive ingredients than say Gyeon Foam which has the following ingredients and a PH of between 11 and 12.
Sodium lauryl ether sulfate 30~40% 68585-34-2
Coconut diethanolamide 10~20% 68603-42-9
EDTA < 5% 64-02-08
Sodium chloride < 5% 7647-14-5
Sodium hydroxide < 5% 1310-73-2
Water 30~40% 7732-18-5
Also from reading their website, it seems to be a RTU (ready to use) product, so no dilution necessary, which will effect the cost per application so bear in mind it may not be as cost effective as the price on the bottle indicates.
