Reflections Detailing - Pure White MK7 GTI

Post by Lambchop »

Hi Guys,

Seems I'm having a run with the MK7 GTI's at the moment.
Mate of mine asked me to detail his car and it needed some TLC. So I obliged.

Needless to say what i had to do was just short of soul destroying or a serious victory. Either way i don't think I've ever had to work this hard to get the paint to where it needed to be. This car had everything, RIDS water marks, swirls for days, cat claw marks. dead insects, tyre gel sling, fly puke and the list goes on.

Any way - Multistage correction and coated with Gtechniq Crystal Serum light and Exo V2

The car was washed, Foamed, clayed and decontaminated - I was really stretched for time and didn't get many pictures on this one.

I had taken quite a few pic of the defects but they didn't come out very well

Now here is the interesting bit Ive coated 4x cars now and I haven't even used 15ml in the bottle. I rate i could do about 8-10 cars in total before having to replenish the stock. This coating is also very easy to apply and easy to remove.. There is no curing time between application and removal like some of the other brands,
The Exo on the other hand is a bit more tricky

Good morning all,

Well firstly a thank you to "El King Ding a Ling" AKA Ian Foat for introducing me to Nicholas. I managed to see some of his stellar work on your awesome 6R

Nicholas I couldn't thank you enough for the amount of work that you had to do on my neglected car... :deadhorse: I didn't realize what was done to the car at local car washes :bang: :bang: :bang: until I actually saw what work had to be done.

Seeing that we live a stone throws away from each other - Some of you don't realize how much work goes into making a car look this good, he had approximately done around 24-30 hours of work over the 2 days this past weekend.

Again a big thank you :hurray: to you sir for the great work and not only making my car look amazing... but what a great guy to have a chat to - humble and always has a smile on his face!

You take a lot of pride in what you do and I hope it continues!

Cheers bud
