On Monday morning I received a call from Gys in order to detail his Seat Leon Cupra on short notice for an upcoming event tomorrow ( Thursday ). I agreed and the car was dropped off within a few hours. Due to some other commitments I had , I only started working on the car on Tuesday afternoon. Luckily this was a VERY neat example of how a car should be kept. Interior - Clean , Engine Bay - Clean , Body - Clean with very little contamination. This is all very nice for me as a detailer , but I knew that I had my work cut out for me in order to see the client smile when he comes to fetch the car, since he is used to a neat looking cab.

I started by cleaning the interior ( Vacuum only with little cleaning done ) , followed by wheels and wheel arches , a wash , IronX and then I clayed the car till about 6pm. On the last 2 panels the darkness caught up and I had to get my LED spotlight out. This morning I got up early as I knew I had lots of work to do. I started off by removing the old double sided tape behind the rear numberplate and then I cleaned the exhaust tips thoroughly. After that has been done , I washed and dried the car to get rid of any over night dust. Did my test spots , and as suspected , I settled on FG400 with my yellow cutting pads. Thereafter I followed up with SF4000 on green polishing pads. By this time , the Zenith Grey from Seat looked AMAZING. In the sunlight the color seemed to have silver flakes in it ( hard to describe ). I finished off with a Menz PL sealant , left to haze and wiped it off. Treated all the trims and rubbers , gave the car a final vacuum and then pulled it out into the street    Snapped up a couple of pics and waited about 15min till the client arrived.

Pictures in no specific order.
Upon arrival

I could for the life of me not remove that glue left behind ....

TOGW ( The Other Guys Wax )
Owner later confirmed he himself polishes the car from time to time

When the owner arrived , he DID smile when he saw and felt the paintwork. TBH , I am pretty sure this was the best outcome I have seen at CreativeCarDetailing. There is NO way that I can describe what it looked and felt like after I finished it off.

Thanx alot guys.

@VWPOLOTIC - This colour is a BEAUT when taken car off. It flips in the sunlight , making it look like it has pearl flakes in the paint

Thanx bud. You have to see this car in the flesh after the detail to TRULY appreciate the outcome. Something you can't capture with a camera
