Well, this is a difficult one to answer because of the many different driving styles... But, let me give it a go.
I get between 4.7 - 5.5l/100Km on the highway (with a small amount of town driving from the highway to my destination)
To the office I get between 6.9 and 7.5l/100Km and that is purely town driving in traffic (she hates traffic and so do I)
My average for my tank was 6.9l/100Km and that is purely town driving and giving her a bit of a hiding.
Performance wise... All I can say is
I had a Polo GTi sit behind me recently, he was not able to get past, but I could not lose him and we were both giving our babies a hiding.
Dont worry about the tractor sound, it is only there when you idle and at low speeds, alse it has a lovely sporty growl when you open up. just remember to idle her when you stop before you turn off. will save the turbo.
