looking to buy a golf 4 tdi estate

hi

i am considering buying the above mentioned car . the price is 120k . the milage is 115000. it has a service plan till 160k and is from master cars . can anone supply any info on this car . is it a good price , pros and cons . i am also looking for a road test on this car

Hi mate.

Very nice car.Same as the mk4 TDI.
No serious problems on them.Just the 120000km serv is pricey as then its cambelt.As a precation let the lifters be checked for score marks etc as we have had a few motors brake lifters over a 130000km.Other than that no problems.

As for the price i can't help.Sorry. :cry:

Which year model? Then we can help with the price.

Judging by the mileage, if it's a 2002 model, it's R10k over book; if it's a 2003 model, price is high, but within retail range, depending on the condition.
